After a good night’s rest, TP 12U ‘AA’ rebounded on Saturday morning with a nitty gritty 8-5 win over the Kanata 12U ‘AA’ Cubs to earn their first pool group victory.
Taking no prisoners, TP 12U ‘AA’ cruised to a dominating 18-1 victory over the Uxbridge 12U ‘AA’ Grizzlies on Saturday evening to capture their second round robin pool group win at the Seaway Shootout.
Finishing with a 2-1 round robin pool group record, Toronto Playgrounds 12U ‘AA’ punched its ticket into the Seaway Tournament’s semi-final elimination round om Sunday.
In a tooth and nail battle earlier this morning, TP 12U ‘AA’ prevailed 7-5 over the Kitchener 12U ‘AA’ Panthers to win their semi-final elimination game at the Seaway Shootout.
