Hello TP Families & Community,

As we approach Giving Tuesday, we’re inviting you to help make a meaningful difference in the lives of young athletes across our neighbourhood.

For decades, Toronto Playgrounds Baseball has been a place where kids learn, grow, and thrive. Together, we’ve built a community grounded in teamwork, joy, and belonging. Yet each year, many families in our area face financial barriers that prevent their children from participating in organized sport.

Last year, through our partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto, TP was able to sponsor 19 kids to play in our House League program. This year, inspired by the excitement and momentum from the Toronto Blue Jays playoff run, we’re aiming even higher.

Our Giving Tuesday Goal

We’re striving to raise $6,000—enough to provide approximately 20 kids with a full season of House League baseball at no cost.

Your support helps ensure that every young person has the opportunity to experience the game we all love.

Your Donation Helps Us:

  • Provide financial assistance to families who need support

  • Expand programs such as our Girls Baseball Program and our upcoming Challenger Baseball Program

  • Continue offering an inclusive, safe, and fun environment where every child feels welcome

Every contribution—big or small—directly impacts a young athlete’s ability to step onto the field with confidence.

How to Donate

You can support TP’s Help a Kid Get in the Game Fund in two ways:

  1. Donate through TeamSnap
    Since you already have a TeamSnap account, you can donate directly by credit card.

  2. Donate via E-Transfer
    Send an e-transfer to info@tpbaseball.ca.
    Please include “Giving Tuesday” in the message box so we can identify your contribution.

As a community-led organization, we rely on your generosity to keep baseball accessible for all families. Thank you for your continued support and for helping us grow the game in such a meaningful and lasting way.
