Toronto Playgrounds Baseball is excited to offer three fantastic Winter Baseball Academy programs to help young players develop their skills.

Each program features weekly indoor skills and drills sessions led by experienced TP Baseball instructors. Players will work on hitting, throwing, catching, and other key baseball fundamentals in a fun and supportive environment.

2026 TP Winter Baseball Academy

The 2026 TP Winter Baseball Academy features ninety-minute weekly indoor skills and drills classes taking place in a TDSB gym. Each week’s class will focus on specific baseball skills and activities, and will be led by trained TP Instructors/Field Supervisors.

This is a great way for participants to enjoy even more baseball while enhancing their skills and building increased self-confidence in their baseball abilities.

There is a class for ages 7 to 9 years and a class for ages 10 to 12 years.

🏫 Location

Givins–Shaw Public School (Double Gym)
49 Givins Street – one block east of Ossington Ave., three blocks south of Dundas St., and two blocks north of Queen St.
(Just west of Trinity Bellwoods Park)

👥 Age Groups & Schedule

Ages 7–9 years

  • Time: 6:15 PM – 7:45 PM

Ages 10–12 years

  • Time: 7:45 PM – 9:15 PM

Program Days
Participants register for one day only:

  • Mondays or

  • Thursdays

📅 6-Week Session Dates

Monday Sessions

  • January 5, 12, 19, 26

  • February 2 and 9

Thursday Sessions

  • January 8, 15, 22, 29

  • February 5 and 19
    (No class on February 12 due to a school event)

📋 Program Format

  • 6 weeks of 90-minute indoor training sessions

  • Skill-based instruction, drills, and fun group activities

💰 Registration Fee

$160.00 per participant (six-week session)

2026 TP Winter Girls Baseball Academy

TP Baseball is excited to announce the 2026 TP Winter Girls Baseball Academy, an all-girls indoor baseball program designed to help players develop skills, build confidence, and have fun during the off-season.

This program features 90-minute weekly indoor sessions held in a TDSB gym and led by trained female TP Instructors and Field Supervisors. Each session focuses on key baseball skills through engaging drills and activities in a supportive, inclusive environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for girls to continue playing baseball year-round while strengthening their skills and self-confidence.

The classes in this Girls Baseball Academy will be for players from ages 7 to 13.

112 Lippincott Street (near Bathurst Street & College Street)

👧 Age Group

  • Ages 7–13

🗓 Day & Time

  • Sundays: 1:15 PM – 2:45 PM

📅 6-Week Session Dates

  • January 11, 18, 25

  • February 1, 8, and 22
    (No class on Family Day weekend)

2026 TP Girls Winter Baseball Academy Info Sheet

2026 TP Winter Tee Ball Academy

The 2026 TP Winter Tee Ball Academy is a fun, active introduction to baseball for young players, featuring 45-minute weekly indoor skills and drills sessions in a gym setting.

Each class is led by trained TP Instructors and Field Supervisors and focuses on developing the fundamentals of throwing, catching, and hitting through fun, age-appropriate drills and activities. This program is a great way for young players to enjoy baseball during the off-season while building skills, confidence, and a love for the game.

There are four classes available…two for ages 4 and 5 years and two for ages 6 and 7 years.

🏫 Location

Harbord Collegiate Institute – Basement Gym
286 Harbord Street (between Euclid Avenue and Manning Avenue)

👶 Age Groups & Class Times

There are four class options available:

Ages 4–5 years

  • 1:30 PM – 2:15 PM

  • 3:30 PM – 4:15 PM

Ages 6–7 years

  • 2:30 PM – 3:15 PM

  • 4:30 PM – 5:15 PM

Day: Saturdays

📅 6-Week Session Dates

  • January 10, 17, 24, 31

  • February 7 and 21
    (No class on Family Day weekend)
